SALARIES AND COMPENSATION
The District has board-approved salary and stipend schedules.
Teacher salaries and stipends are reviewed, and approved, annually.
Teachers, Counselors, and Librarians with more than 5 years of experience with the district are awarded a higher "Above State Base" salary.
At-Will position applicants may have their years of experience in the area of their application considered when determining their salary.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHING STAFF PAY:
$100/day (Non-degreed)
$120/day (Degreed)
$125/day (Long term replacement due to termination, resignation, or death)
BUS DRIVER STIPENDS:
The district will pay licensed bus drivers as follows:
Fort Davis to/within Balmorhea, Alpine, Marfa, or Valentine - $50/trip
Fort Davis beyond Balmorhea, Alpine, Marfa, or Valentine - $200/trip
The district will pay for the bus driver's physical and renewal certification classes, but not for the state driver's license.
